Is Starbook free to use?
Yes — Earth and the inner solar system are free, no install. Founding Crew (first 500 members) unlocks nearby stars, galaxies, and the full scale ladder for $1 a month, locked in for life.
Is the data real?
Yes. Planet positions come from JPL ephemerides, satellites from live CelesTrak tracking, and stars from real catalog positions. Starbook shows only real data — nothing fabricated.
Can I see the ISS and satellites live?
Yes — Starbook plots live satellites and the International Space Station in their real orbits, updated from live tracking data. See where the ISS is right now →
What can I explore?
Free: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, ISS, live satellites, and field views of the asteroid belt and comets. Founding Crew: nearby stars, deep-sky destinations, and the full scale ladder out through the mapped cosmos.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Starbook runs entirely in your web browser using WebGL — nothing to install. A desktop browser gives the fullest experience.
